This works the quads, glutes, hamstrings, and calves. Lateral jumps build bone strength and density. In addition to that, as your lower body gets stronger, your balance and joints will improve - it's a good one for knee injury rehabilitation

  • Place your object on the floor that you will be jumping over.
  • Stand with the right side facing the object and feet facing forward.
  • Bend your knees and explode off the ground over the object - should be a 2 footed jump and landing
  • Scaled versions include one foot take off and landing. Make sure you still explode though!
